- Fern Holes everywhere. And not one thing taken.

- Bobo Nobody touch anything. Especially the holes.
- Narrator Bobo had never met a hole he trusted.
- Pim Look at the dirt, Bobo. A digger scoops it OUT. One pile, one side.
- Pim This dirt is everywhere AROUND. Like something pushed it.
- Bobo Pushed. That is advanced digging.
- Milo Morning! Did somebody find breakfast?
- Bobo Milo. Your paws. They are MUDDY.
- Milo I was digging at MY corner. For my breakfast acorn. I buried it in autumn.
- Milo But the hole was already open. And my acorn is GONE.
- Bobo The digger robs OTHER diggers! Nobody's hole is safe!
- Bobo It happened RIGHT BEHIND ME.
- Pim While you were announcing.
- Bobo To the office. I need the case board.
- Fern I'll fetch water. Hold on, flowers.
- Bobo Theory one. A mole. A HUGE mole.
- Pim We have never once met a mole.
- Bobo Theory two. The raccoon. Digging for treasure. MY treasure.
- Ollie I heard theories. Are they the wrong kind?
- Bobo Ollie. You watch the whole wood at night. WHO came to the park?
- Ollie Nobody. I watched till sunrise. Even the raccoon slept on my roof. He snores.
- Bobo Nobody came. But the holes kept coming.
- Pim So we are looking for someone who was never there.
- Narrator That is a hard someone to find.
- Milo Um. Who is watching the garden right now?
- Bobo THE GARDEN!
- Fern Not the big one! NOT the big one!
- Bobo It digs faster than we detect!
- Fern The show starts at noon. That is NOW, Bobo.
- Pim Three clues, detective. The dirt was pushed OUT. Never scooped.
- Pim Milo's acorn was GONE from a hole already open.
- Pim And all night long, NOBODY came.
- Pim Nobody dug down. So what pushed UP?
- Milo That is... that is a SPROUT.
- Milo My acorn wasn't stolen. It GREW.
- Bobo The thief is BREAKFAST?
- Pim Every hole is one of Milo's autumn acorns. Spring pushed them all up this morning.
- Ollie I watched all night for nothing. It was digging from UNDER.
- Narrator Milo had buried breakfast everywhere. Now it was a forest.
- Fern Flowers AND a baby forest. THAT is a show.
- Fern One acorn never sprouted. I found it by the fence. Catch, Milo.
- Milo Best case we ever solved.
- Bobo Case closed. The thief... was SPRING.
- Pim Spring cannot hear you, Bobo.
