- Bobo All quiet, Pim. Even my magnifying glass is bored.
- Fern Detectives! My cake just walked right out of my kitchen!
- Bobo A WALKING cake?!
- Narrator It was not walking. But it was surely gone.
- Pim Cakes cannot walk, Fern. Something moved it. To your kitchen!
- Pim Look — drag marks. Our cake slid along here and away.
- Ollie Mmm! Is it cake time? I smelled it from far off!
- Bobo Ollie! The cake is gone — and here you are, nose first!
- Narrator Bobo was sure he had his thief. Bobo is always sure.
- Ollie I only followed the lovely smell. I promise!
- Pim Steady, Bobo. A nibbler stops to munch. These marks drag on and on. Come on!
- Bobo Milo — and the cake! Hold on. Clue check, detective.
- Bobo The cake slid away all by itself. The drag marks run on and on.
- Bobo And Ollie followed the smell, nose-first.
- Bobo So — who do YOU think took Fern's cake?
- Narrator But the real thief was still close by. Keep your eyes open.
- Bobo A masked raccoon — running off!
- Milo Don't worry — the cake is safe!
- Milo I saw that raccoon drag your cake off, Fern. I chased it away and guarded it for you.
- Fern Milo! You saved my cake. Thank you, thank you!
- Bobo And Ollie — I am sorry. Your nose was innocent all along.
- Ollie My nose accepts! May it please sniff a slice?
- Pim Case closed: the Creeping Cake. Cake for everyone!
- Fern And a crumb on the crate for the raccoon too. Even a hungry one deserves a treat.
