A machine in the meadow that throws ACORNS at the sky… but who built it, and what is it aiming at? Join Bobo & Pim, the woodland detective duo, as they chase a mystery that keeps raining acorns on everybody, from the park to the office and back before sundown, in this fun animated mystery for kids!
A little wooden catapult stands all alone on the grass, winding itself up and flinging acorns high over the treetops. They come down on Fern's seedlings and bonk Poppy on the head, and the two friends have stopped speaking! Bobo promises to catch the builder by sundown, but every order he gives makes things worse: he turns the thrower round and the acorns rain into the agency's own window… he sends shy Milo up the tall tree… and then he shows everyone "how a squirrel climbs." - Bobo Acorns fly at the sky. The treetop is full. Somebody here is never off the ground. Who built the thrower?
- Milo I built the thrower, Bobo. The truth is my tail's fine.
- Milo I'm scared of high places, but I want my acorns up high.
- Fern I'm sorry, Poppy. I want my friend back.
- Poppy I'm sorry too, Fern.
- Pim That acorn climbed higher than you, Bobo.
- Bobo I'm sorry I called you lazy, Milo. A detective can climb anything.
